2026 PROXY BIDDER FORM

 

If you are not attending the Music and Memories event on August 28, 2026, you may designate a Providence Community Health Foundation Napa Valley (PCHFNV) auction representative to serve as a proxy bidder in your absence by registering here. The representative will place bids on each auction item specified on page two of this form, at the minimum bid increment each time you are outbid, but not for more than your maximum authorized bid amount.

PCHFNV offers this feature as a courtesy and is not responsible for anyone failing to make the winning bid on auction items. Your proxy bid is a binding contract to purchase the auction item of which you are the winning bidder. The designated PCHFNV representative will follow your instructions to the best of his or her ability.

To secure a bidder number, complete all pages of this form, and be sure to pre-register your credit card by 12 pm on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. The PCHFNV is not responsible for proxies lost by electronic transmission. Should your proxy bid be the successful winning bid, a PCHFNV representative will contact you by 12pm on Monday, August 31, 2026 with further instruction and detailed information. You will receive a copy of the auction receipt signed by the PCHFNV representative, acknowledging your successful winning bid.

By completing this form, I acknowledge that I have read the above proxy bid procedure and registration terms, authorize the PCHFNV auction representative to make binding bids on my behalf per the bidding instructions set forth above, and agree to promptly remit to PCHFNV the full amount of any winning bid made on my behalf.

I authorize Providence Community Health Foundation Napa Valley to use the credit card entered on the submission page at event. Once the transaction has completed successfully, a confirmation receipt will be sent to the email address entered.

 

Important Information for Proxy Bidding for Buy-a-Seat Experiences

Some auction packages offer multiple seats for purchase. For these lots, bidding will begin at the published per-seat price.

During the live auction on August 28, if interest exceeds the number of seats available, the auctioneer may, at their discretion, increase the final per-seat price to determine winning bidders. For this reason, when submitting a proxy bid, please enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay per seat, not the beginning bid amount.

For example, if a lot opens at $750 per seat and you are willing to pay up to $1,000 per seat, your proxy bid should be $1,000 per guest. If the final per-seat price exceeds your maximum bid, your request may not be fulfilled.

Submitting a proxy bid authorizes the Foundation to bid on your behalf up to your stated maximum per-seat price.
